Yesterday, the fittest and fastest (and most fun) of the CRG participated in the 10th annual Glasgow Santa Dash; a charity 5k run/walk organised by Glasgow City Council. This year we ran in support of the Beatson Cancer Charity, the nominated charity for this year’s race and one we’re very happy to support.
We joined the rest of the 7500 Santas at George Square for the start of the city’s biggest ever Santa Dash, and even met local celebrity Kingsley before we set off!
CRG ready (if not willing) to run, supported by our mascot Mirin the dog.
The weather thankfully held up, and it was a lovely run through the centre of town towards the SECC and back along the riverfront to finish – we'd all collected our medals by 11 and went straight to the Christmas market to make up for lost carbs and sample some glühwein!
